Support Local Arts: Help Us Find A New Home

Updated: Dec 3

In true Shakespearean fashion, Points North Theatre Company became a nomadic troupe during the 2020 plague. While we have kept up our annual Shakespeare in the Park performances at Rob Fleming Park and partnered with local businesses to produce our monthly Murder Mysteries, we cannot truly bring the magic of full theater productions to the North Houston area without a more permanent home.

Our goal for 2026 is to find multiple locations in The Woodlands, Tomball, Magnolia, and Spring where we can have a short-term lease for two to three weeks to produce shows like Children of a Lesser God, All the World’s a Stage, Holiday on the Western Front and A Fairytale Christmas, to name only a few. Those productions will allow us to market test different areas and discover where YOU, our audiences and supporters, prefer us to settle down.

Then we can begin a large-scale donation campaign to raise funds for a long-term lease. We will need a lease deposit, remodeling costs to create a working theater space, and enough in our savings account to pay at least six months rent. It won’t be easy, but we know and trust that our area needs a community theater where people can come together to experience the magic of live theater without driving 30-45 minutes into Houston or Conroe.

Community theater is crucial in today’s world. It’s a space where local artists can create magic and audiences can expand their horizons. Community theaters welcome anyone who wants to dip their toes into acting, set building, lights, or sound, who wants to develop lifelong friendships, and express themselves artistically.

So please, show your support by donating today! We have so many ways that you can help:

Upstage Theatre Inc DBA Points North Theatre Company is a 501(c(3)), so any and all of your donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for your support!
