Points North Theatre Company began as UpStage Theatre Inc in Houston in 2000. For two decades, this award-winning theatre regaled thousands of audience members with its seasons full of comedy, drama, music, and more.

In 2019, UpStage realized The Woodlands area needed a new theatrical company to cater to the discriminating audience members in the township and surrounding areas. Thus, PNTC was born!

We are happy to bring our years of experience to points north of Houston, and invite you to join us in our audiences or on our stage.

Bringing Arts to the Park

Beginning in 2016, Points North has been dedicated in presenting vivid and entertaining Shakespeare performances to the community through The Woodlands Shakespeare Festival, FKA The Woodlands Arts in the Park. Our productions are designed to engage with audiences of all ages to demonstrate that Shakespeare is not only NOT BORING, but also HILARIOUS!
